Privacy Policy

Effective date: 26 June 2026

SafarMore Horizons (“SafarMore,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we handle it, and the rights you have under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”). For the purposes of the DPDP Act, SafarMore Horizons is the Data Fiduciary responsible for your personal data.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us, plus the minimum needed to run the site securely.

  • Information you provide. When you submit an inquiry through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you choose to provide it), your selected travel type, and the contents of your message.
  • Technical information. Like most websites, our servers automatically record limited technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) to keep the site secure and working properly. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.

2. How we use your information

We use your personal data only to:

  • respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about it;
  • understand your travel needs and prepare the suggestions, itineraries, or quotes you ask for;
  • arrange the travel services you request, such as flights, accommodation, and transport; and
  • maintain the security and proper functioning of our website.

We do not use your data for unrelated purposes, and we do not sell it.

3. Your consent

When you submit our contact form, you consent to our processing your personal data for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see “Your rights” below). Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, and may mean we are no longer able to assist with your request.

4. Sharing your information

We treat your data as confidential and share it only:

  • with trusted service providers and travel partners (for example airlines, hotels, and transport operators) strictly as needed to fulfil the request you have made, and under obligations of confidentiality; and
  • where required by law, or to establish, protect, or defend our legal rights, or the safety of others.

We never sell your personal data or share it for third-party marketing.

5. Data retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to provide the services you have requested and to meet any legal or accounting obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

6. Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or loss, and we limit access to those who genuinely need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to address any incident promptly and responsibly.

7. Your rights under the DPDP Act

As a Data Principal, you have the right to:

  • access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it;
  • request correction, completion, or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request erasure of your personal data where it is no longer needed;
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity; and
  • a readily available means of grievance redressal.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@safarmore.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

8. Grievance redressal

If you have any concern about how we handle your personal data, please contact us at privacy@safarmore.com and we will work to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to raise the matter with the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of children (individuals under 18) without the verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian, in line with the DPDP Act. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-party links and services

Our site may use third-party content delivery networks to load standard resources such as fonts and styling; these providers may receive routine request information (such as your IP address) when your browser loads those resources. Our pages may also link to external sites, for example social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites we do not operate.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective date” shown above indicates when it was last revised, and the current version will always be posted on this page.
